Volunteers

The Frisian Eleven Cities Cycling Tour on Pentecost Monday is made possible by more than 750 volunteers. Under the guidance of a district head, coordinator or police officer, they help ensure the smooth running of the tour. During the Pentecost weekend it is mainly about the organization itself.

You can be a volunteer if:

traffic controller (support police in controlling traffic)
parking attendant in Bolsward (arranging parking for participants)
start controller (checking the smooth running of the start in Bolsward)
stamper (both at the start and at the checkpoints)
supervisor (participants refer to start, route, etc.)
logistics employee (supply posts, foraging participants and organization, etc.)
finish control employee (collecting and checking start card and finish control card, issuing medal)
route employee (supervision of route, sweeper vehicle, etc.)
Fortunately, every year there are enough volunteers willing to take on these tasks. But new volunteers are very welcome. If you are interested in lending us a helping hand during the Pentecost weekend, you can register.

Together we ensure that 15,000 cyclists can visit the Frisian eleven cities every year on Pentecost Monday! We also count on you!
